My nephew D.A. back with his next installment, JULY BABY. With production from yours truly and Marius Lamont. Following him on Instagram: @hi_devinition
The new music video from Gothic Soul Entertainment recording artist, Mac Millie. “BLACKisBEAUTIFUL”, Produced & Directed by yours truly. Mac kicked off the theme for this venture. I believe it all fell in line once he heard the music. The track came about under an hour. I can’t say anything, in particular, inspired it. Just one of those afternoon’s after Ubering, Lol. I will say this tho, the song was meant to be, for whatever reason. Everything just fell into place for it. Mac had the idea of inrolling body paint artist, EA7160 aka Tarynn Jackson. To paint on a couple of beauty queens. Allie Lyke and Afrika were the canvases/models. The unique thing about EA7160 painting. She usually paints under a black light using fluorescent paint. Which to me takes it to another level. Makes it all more interesting and entertaining to the eye. Her drawings as well have a distinctly charismatic signature. Often reminds me of the hieroglyphics in Egypt. A place I’m very fond of and want to visit one day.
Once Mac told me about the body painting, my mind went to work on ideas immediately. Mac started shooting over different pieces of footage to use in the video. Black Panther videos with Kathleen Cleaver . In the background of her interview. You can hear a group of ladies singing. “Black is Beautiful”, is what their chanting. I’m thinking to my self, that would be perfect for the hook. At this time the song wasn’t even completed and the break in between the hook & 2nd verse was blank. Then on another day, I get a Facebook message from my cousin, Vanessa Eason-Horton. Sending me a link to Smokey Robinson reciting a poem on Def Poetry Jam titled “I Love Being Black”. Along with the link she said,
Another model joined in shortly after. The beautiful DopeGirlOnMySpace. For the moonlight and the bamboo scenes. We had a lot of fun putting this together. Not as much fun I had to edit it. Lol, You can watch it below here or at Gothic Soul Entertainment website. Song available on iTunes, Apple Music, Tidal, Spotify, Amazon Music, Google Play, Audio Mack and more. If you like the video let us know and pass it on.

the MAC IS BACK!
Mac Millie returns with his sophomore installment, Furious Stylez.
A year ago Mac wanted to Persuade, Inform and Entertain you. Now with more bench pressing done on the bars. He has come up with some catchy hooks to along with them bars to bring you Furious Stylez. Punch after punch, bar for bar, Mac delivers true skills in each song. Once again S7NLEE and Meesak provide the production behind the project. The immaculate intro alone lets you know the album just might be dope! S7NLEE‘s backdrop sets the tone with a live band instrumentation, with guitars whaling about. Alongside the lovely vocals of Chakalatay. It’s dramatic like 90’s hip-hop albums were. You remember how Diddy and Busta would do on their classics.
Immediately Mac jumps into a personal subject on the first song behind the intro. His firstborn son, and the everyday struggles of fatherhood in the hood. Maintaining a 9 to 5 to keep food on the table or get that work to move on the streets. Bottomline, fill that bag by any means. Mac’s detail on his lyrics will have you to rewind songs a few times. It’s no lie. You hear it in the bars. Something that eventually brought him to the Laurence Fishburne character, Furious Styles. It’s Furious’s tone and wise mind that leaves you with an impression. This album will definitely leave you with a good impression.
Available worldwide digitally via iTunes, Apple Music, Tidal, Amazon Music, Google Play, Audiomack, Bandcamp and Gothic Soul Entertainment (website.)

“NO Reaction” Prod by S7NLEE for MADDMANN-Productionz
Mac Millie is back with his sophomore release, Furious Stylez . . .
Heavily working in the MADDLABB Studio’s in Chicago with composer and producer, S7NLEE. It’s offering you some of everything musically. Mac takes on the Laurence Fishburne character from the movie Boys In the Hood. But Furious’s style and look doesn’t match the heat Mac is spitting over the MADDTRAXX S7N submitted for the project. Mac wants you rewinding his verses after a listen. It’s the hidden bars he carefully plants throughout a song that has you repeating it. Tediously lacing each line with witty, three denominational metaphors and catchy punch lines.
Mac always studying the game constantly. Listening to the greats like we all have coming up in big cities. And if you study the greats you gotta be doing something good. When he’s writing he searches for ways on how to approach each new song different than the last. Mash that together with S7NLEE’s original production and you got the makings of a monumental classic. Underground that is . . . indy living. The album is due out late September. Via iTunes, Tidal, Google Play, Amazon Music, etc.
